“I started building artillery pieces, many years ago; to honor my father, a member of the 131st Field Artillery, which later became known as the Texas Lost Battalion. While fighting in the Pacific Theater during World War II he was captured and held as a prisoner of war for forty-two months by the Japanese. My love for my father and love for Country’s history inspired me to begin building these artillery pieces in honor of past and present veterans. These unique artillery pieces when fired stun the on-lookers with a loud report as a salute to their power and their suggestion for freedom.
